not very logic
it is very logic!
it depends from the player.
you solved the xv today in 6:07
me in 33:29 with pencil marks,
i can't trust my solving capabilities,
so I trust the pc.
he solves the grids in thousandths of second , but he doesn't use the brain
the hard is hard just because there is a hidden triple inside;
the evaluation of the difficulty is rigidly increasing: variant rule, blocking numbers, naked sets, hidden sets, wings, colours, chains.
The approach of humans is very different.
That is why a grid produced by a human is worth thousand pc grids.
a few details on pc program:
the slotmachine required about 10 hours for developping the algorithm for the variant.
once completed the program can produce 200 valid grid per minute.
The complete grids are then reduced to the final grid (100 grids per hour).
