Did I misread the instructions?

This is the first time I participated in this contest. I thought the instructions said the contest would run for 2 hours from the moment you start. However when I tried to submit the answer for the non consecutive Sudoku, I was told the contest was over, even though I had only used one and a half hour so far.

I'm so sorry,
inspite of all my efforts to prepare the contest to the best, there was a bug in the code.
after midnight the warnig "contest is already closed" was displayed.
Actually the warning was not affecting the recording of puzzles solved within the two hours.
you can play for additional 29 minutes,
next contest, I swear, instead to go to bed I will monitor the contest all night long.
